Wold farm camp site is a small certified caravan and camping site located on our farm, on the edge of the village of Flamborough, at the highest point of the village, with breathtaking, and arguably the best views around, with views across to Danes Dyke, Flamborough lighthouse and the coastline.
The local area has much to offer with many Pubs serving excellent food. You will be a short stroll from the Bempton Cliffs bird sanctuary, and there are also many excellent viewing areas adjacent to our fields perfect for viewing the puffins with burrows only 18 meters away. Private access is available to our customers only through our meadows and paths. Nearing the cliff top there is a picnic area available for customers use.
Camping at Wold farm is a unique experience, it is a previously unseen part of Flamborough and our guests comment on how they couldnt believe this part of Flamborough existed, it truely is another world. Were located in a superior position with thriving wildlife, where you will ofter see deer on your way up our farm track, which is a bit bumpy, but once at wold farm the scenery is uncomparable to anywhere else in Flamborough. We have entered a scheme with DEFRA, which was set up to enhance the wildlife and landscape. Since entering the scheme 5 years ago we have not used any fertilzer or pesticides on our land, our fields have not being overly grazed, creating a patchwork scenery.
Due to the authenticity of our small site we have featured in The Guardian newspaper, being in the top ten best beach and coastal camp sites, and the only site to be featured on the yorkshire coast., and have also been chosen by The Times newspaper as one of their favourite sites.
